RightFax Healthcare Direct from OpenText

OpenText RightFax Healthcare Direct (RFHD) is an option for healthcare providers who have traditionally relied upon fax as their primary means of exchanging protected health information (PHI). RFHD converts paper-based and digital faxes to Direct messages, a HIPAA-compliant form of electronic exchange similar to e-mail. RFHD is a suite of tools and services that allow organizations using RightFax to:


  • Transition RightFax fax activity to a secure and structured form of patient document exchange
  • Expand interoperability (such as Direct messages) throughout your community: as more hospitals, doctors' offices, specialists, clinics and partners adopt, you and they are able to exchange interoperable documents
  • Enhanced care coordination


OpenText RightFax Healthcare Direct includes a Browser interface which requires i-Option (LK-101) and a Native interface which does not require i-Option.
